There are some people for whom age brings a new grace and beauty. They look so beautiful even with wrinkles and other signs of aging that you hardly notice those aspects of aging that bothers so many people!
But for most of us, aging brings signs like “marionette lines” which make aging such a dreaded word in our lives!
These lines or wrinkles are seen around the chin and mouth and are also known as laugh lines; the effect they have on those having them, however, is just the opposite.
Not many people can afford surgery to remove these fine lines, and for others they definitely don’t want to deal with the cost and dangers of surgery. As a result, they have to either accept these signs of aging or look for alternatives.
The good news is that there are beauty products and facial exercises that can help you lesson the presence of these fine lines on your face.
Facial Exercises For Fine Lines
Let’s start with an example of face exercises you can do to help reduce fine lines naturally. These particular exercises are good for the neck and lower jaw area. They help lift your neck and smooth any of the lines in your lower face and around your mouth. There are also other specific facial exercise programs which help with fine lines around your eyes and forehead.
1) Start by sitting comfortably in a chair that has low to medium back. This is important so that you can tilt head backwards.
2) As if you are staring at the ceiling, tilt your head back as far as you can comfortably.
3) Now make the motion of chewing with your mouth.
This exercise is to be repeated for 3-5 minutes every day to get results.
Like I said, it’s great for fine lines around your neck and lower-jaw, as well as helping you lift the sagging skin around your neck.
1) Again look at the ceiling by tilting your head back.
2) Put your lips together as if you are going to kiss someone.
3) Release, and then purse again.
Do this 10 times before bringing your head back to normal position. Rest for 10-15 seconds and then repeat again. This exercise should be done at least 5 times every day.
The next exercise to get rid of fine lines is somewhat similar to the former.
1) Again tilt your head back and look at the ceiling.
2) But this time, after pursing your lips stick out your tongue and try to touch your chin with it.
3) Stretch your tongue as far as possible.
Stay in the position, count to 10, and then come back to normal position. This is also to be done five times a day.
1) Tilt your head backwards and pursing your lips.
2) After that, stretch your lower lip over upper lip as much as possible.
Stay in this position while counting to five and then return to the former position.
This exercise is to be done for five times as well.

To soften laugh lines on your face, use a concealer. The product should be soft and light colored as well as have the ability to reflect light. This will reduce the intensity and depth of those fine lines. Start with little dabs of the concealer on the lines, use your ring fingers to smooth them and apply more if needed.
Highlight the best features of your face which will automatically draw the attention away from your “marionette lines”. Applying a smooth layer of blush, light in color, on the cheeks will do the trick.
