Everyone these days, no matter how well off you are financially, seems to be trying to save a little money.
All over Facebook and Instagram, there are pictures and tutorials on DIY projects that can save you money.
One of the greatest ways to save money is by cutting what you spend on expensive skin care products, especially those used for anti-aging.
There are several different recipes that can be used to make your own anti-aging skin care products that are a lot cheaper and also a lot better for your skin.
1. Hydrating Anti-Aging Mask
This is a pretty easy one. It isn’t a very well-known fact, but honey has amazing health benefits.
It kills bacteria and purifies the skin. It also acts as an amazing moisturizer!
All of that is in one little product! To make the honey facial mask, all you need to do is spread the honey over your skin and let it sit for 5-10 minutes.
Wash it off and enjoy your clean, hydrated skin.
2. Hydrating Anti-Aging Oil
If you suffer from dry skin, you can use a few all-natural oils and just rub them into your skin before bed.
One of the best oils, of which you probably have sitting in your pantry, is extra virgin olive oil.
3. Anti-Aging Exfoliator
Try to get the pieces as small as possible, as if in a powder form.
Then, mix the crushed nuts with a few tablespoons of plain yogurt and a teaspoon of almond oil_.
Mix this all together and you have an all-natural exfoliator.
You can use this daily since it will clean, tighten, and soothe your skin all at once. If you don’t have walnuts, you can replace this with coffee grounds.
4. Anti-Aging Eye Rejuvenator
White tea does wonders for the skin, especially the super sensitive skin under the eyes.
Brew yourself a bowl of white tea and soak up the tea in a washcloth.
Leave it as hot as you can stand it and then put the towel on your face for 3 minutes or so.
The naturally occurring antioxidants in the tea will rejuvenate your skin.
5. Anti-Aging Oily Skin Treatment
Soaking a face cloth in the warm tea and keeping it on your face for a minimum of ten minutes will minimize how much oil your skin produces.
So this is something you’ll need to do over the course of a few days. And, the naturally occurring caffeine in the black tea will invigorate your skin, making it look years younger!
Start making your own DIY skin care products do you make at home; you’ll not only look fresh and younger but you will also save money!
