Foot Treatment For Happy And Healthy Feet
Follow the steps:
1. Remove old nail polish efficiently
Make sure to remove old nail polish completely. If the nail polish is stuck between your nail and skin, use a cotton swab dipped in that nail polish remover. It is preferred to use oily nail polish remover.
2. Push the cuticles
This is a crucial step that we all, somehow, forget about.
Before you push the cuticles you need to soften them. To soften your cuticles, use an oil, which you will gently rub on your cuticles.
Leave it for a couple of minutes until your skin absorbs it and then gently push the cuticles downward.
This will be more effective if you do it with the wooden stick especially made for that purpose.
3. Prepare yourself a SPA enjoyment
In warm water (not too warm) add a few drops of lavender essential oil.
Soak your feet and leave them for 15 minutes.
After this spa bath dry them with a soft towel.
4. Remove dry skin
Relaxing oil bath will soften your skin so removal of the dead skin will be easy.
If you do this regularly, foot file will do the job. On the other hand, if you do not do this regularly, you may use an electric one.
5. Shape your nails
Shape your nails with a quality nails file. The best files are the one made of glass because you can easily clean them.
Don’t file your nails back and forth, do it in one direction. How to file your nails, check here.
6. Paint your nails
How to achieve the best nail paint follow the instructions:
– Put the base ( use a transparent nail polish or a special product for equal nail plate)
– Put two layers of the nail polish you chose
– Put the final layer (the best choice is a polish for quick dry)
When you are polishing your toe nails, use a toes separator. If you do not have this, you can make it with cotton balls.
7. Make sure to correct the mistakes
If you did something wrong when polishing your nails, remove traces of paint with a fine thin pen which will (effectively) do the job.
8. Feed your foot
If you want your feet to be soft you need to moisturize them.
Use a moisturizing cream specially made for foot skin.
Apply the cream and leave your feet to absorb it.
Note: It is very important that the equipment you are doing your pedicure (scissors, files, snacks, varnishes) apart from the one for the manicure. Feet contain some bacteria that you do not want to transfer onto your hands!
