Hyperpigmentation occurs for various reasons. That reason can range from sun exposure, hormonal disbalance to genetics. Even some medications can cause them.
But before you run to the store and buy some product that might solve your problem, simply go to the kitchen cause solution for dark spots is already there.
Therefore, the natural solution is alway a better solution!
Remove Dark Spots Naturally With These Tricks:
When comes to removing those spots, lemon juice is the number one remedy!
Lemons natural acidity works as an organic bleaching agent, which, if used regularly, can slowly reduce dark spots.
It helps break down the melanin pigmentation and also curbs the over-production of melanin that causes the darkening of the skin. And because of the exfoliation properties of lemon juice, even the most stubborn brown spots will begin to fade away.
Lemon juice contains Vitamin C that is scientifically proven to bring down the production of melanin in the body. Citric acid is also one of the 5 Alpha Hydroxy acids that are efficient and essential for skin exfoliation.
However, studies suggest that one should not use lemon juice on the skin and walk out in the sun immediately, as this may cause the skin to burn!
If you have more serious and darker dark spots than you can try horseradish mixture.
First, take some lemon juice and soak the cotton pad. Clean your face like you would do with the toner.
Make a mixture with horseradish, honey and vinegar. Apply the mixture onto the affected areas and let it rest for 20 minutes.
After 20 minutes rinse your face. And if you are going outside, use SPF cream because your face can be sensitive to UV rays after this treatment.
3. Red Onion
This may not be the smelliest the solution, but it is worth it!
Red onion has similar acid levels like lemon and vinegar. Therefore it is an excellent solution for hyperpigmentation.
For this method you need red onion juice. And for that, you can use a juicer or a blender.
When you have that smelly juice ready, take a Q-tip and apply onion juice directly onto the spots you want to lighten.
Leave to rest for around 10 minutes. After, just rinse with lukewarm water and clean your face with your favorite cleanser.
No matter which method you choose, you need to be persistent ’cause nothing happens over night!
