If you want to clean your face and restore its freshness, all you need is clay!
Clay is one of the oldest natural ingredients and it was used as natural remedy and cure.
In ancient Greece, they used it to treat fractures, in Egypt for mummification of the pharaoh, in the Hippocratic time for the defense of dysentery, typhoid fever and various infections.
At present, we use clay primarily for face and body. And for a good reason, because it draws out toxins and excess fat, cleans pores and removes dead cells of the epithelium.
Also, lens acne and blackheads, prevents redness and spots on the skin, stimulate the collagen and elastin which are crucial for youthful skin.
There are tree types of clay in nature: green, yellow, white and red. Green is good for healing treatments and detoxification. And for cosmetic masks usually green or white.
Since the clay oxidizes when in contact with metal, when making the mask always use a glass bowl and wooden spoon.
If you want to afford yourself some proper treatment you don’t need expensive treatments. All you needs is a little bit of clay and proper guidance on how to use it.
Clay mask and hot to use them:
1. Treatment for effective cellulite breakdown
Mix 100 g of clay powder with 500 ml warm water and keep in a glass bottle for three weeks.
Heat the mixture and apply on cellulite affected areas and cover with plastic wrap.
Wrap yourself in a blanket and warm up the room. Keep the mixture on for 30 minutes. Repeat treatment three or four times a day.
2. Deep cleansing mask for oily skin
For this purposes, you will need green clay because it absorbs fat, toxins and impurities from the skin. It also stimulates circulation, restores the complexion, shrinks pores, revitalizes damaged skin.
In a glass bowl mix two teaspoons of green clay with a teaspoon of jojoba oil, and gradually pour lukewarm chamomile tea. Stir with wooden spoon until you get a homogeneous mixture.
Apply the mask on your face and hold it for at least 15 minutes. And after just rinse with lukewarm water.
For more successful solving of certain cosmetic problems, you can add essential oils of your choice.
3. Clay bath for body and soul relaxation
Fill your bathtub with water (38 degrees Celsius) and add 3-4 tablespoons of clay. Relax in this bath for maximum 15 minutes.

4. Mask for sensitive skin
This mask works as a strengthener for sensitive skin.
Masks for sensitive, mixed and normal skin are made from white clay.
In a glass bowl put two teaspoons of clay, a teaspoon of vegetable oil and then gradually pour flower water or tea.
Instead of floral water, you can use distilled water. Stir until you form a paste.
Apply the mask on your face and rinse after 15 minutes with lukewarm water.
