Facial Rejuvenation Is Possible Without Surgery
Exercising for facial rejuvenation is not something new; those who started “yoga” did it centuries ago. Maybe yoga for them was more a spiritual aspect rather than aesthetic one, but today it has somehow become the opposite! Yes people often criticize those who try to look beautiful all the time, but it has been proved that physical beauty is connected to overall health as well. That is why aging is not only a loss in beauty but a loss of overall good health and well-being as well.
How we age is a very complex process and science has just started unraveling its secret, and hence to claim we know all about aging will be a tall claim. Till a complete picture emerges, we are all looking for the next solution for stopping or slowing down the signs of aging. One of the biggest pieces of ammunition we have in this is the Botox treatment, while the second is cosmetic surgery. In a funny way, the success of Botox has shown how an all-natural technique can actually rejuvenate your face and help you look younger!
Botox is a more favored form of facial rejuvenation because it does not involve surgery and effectively removes wrinkles and fine lines. It is a cosmetic treatment in which toxin is injected into your facial muscle. The toxin freezes the movement of those facial muscles which makes it impossible for them to move and contract. It will stay like that for about three months and within that time, the muscles will not work on skin to cause the appearance of any wrinkles.
But there is a downside to it; the face appears to be frozen. That is because the movement of our face is a group effort and if one part of the group does not move, then so won’t the other parts! But the positive side is that, no skin is removed and the face’s original look is not altered in any way for the most part.
For years most people believed that wrinkles and aging are caused by the skin being worn out from age and also through the loss of collagen. And hence the things that are still widely believed to be the only ways to help for facial rejuvenation are creams and surgery. Fortunately this is not the case.
How is Botox related to facial exercise? Well, those that support Botox, on the other hand, stress that wrinkles are not caused due to wear and tear of skin but by the contraction of those muscles under the skin. So if that contraction is stopped then skin will not show wrinkles. Skin muscles are not exactly the same as other muscles of the body; they are attached in one end with skin and in the other with bones. So if muscles have a problem in other parts of the body, you become unwell or unfit; but when the same happens with facial muscles, you look aged and old!
Proponents of facial exercise have always said that wrinkles are caused by contractions in facial muscles and also that sagging in the skin is caused by loose muscles in the face. Well, facial exercise can help to lay the groundwork for preventing the face from causing wrinkles in the first place by increasing the strength and resiliency of facial muscles.
This is what Botox has achieved for many! Yes, it may not stop the contraction all together but can freeze it for a time period. But they will not be able to make the muscles relax on their own.
That is where facial exercises can come into play.
When you understand how your facial muscles work, you can make your facial rejuvenation a reality.
By exercising the muscles in your face, you can not only control the skin’s appearance but also your facial muscles which will lead to a decrease in the appearance of signs of aging on your face.
